Sarah Mettin, born and raised in the Philadelphia area, graduated cum laude from the Dance Conservatory at SUNY Purchase in 2011 and studied at Rotterdamse Dans Academie (Codarts) in Rotterdam, Netherlands in 2009. She has performed works by Bill T. Jones, Twyla Tharp, Kate Weare, Merce Cunningham, Jose Limon and Jessica Lang, among others. Sarah teaches at Mark Morris Dance Center and is a freelance choreographer in the Philadelphia and New York area. Her first full-length work will be presented in NYC at APAP this January. Sarah appreciates the genuine warm welcome Take and the Company dancers have given her, and is thrilled to share the stage with them.
