Nana Tsuda Misko
Nana Tsuda Misko is originally from Osaka, Japan where she studied with Sumire Sho. In 2001 Nana came to NYC to continue her training at the Alvin Ailey School and she later completed the Merce Cunningham Certificate with a Merit Scholarship. She enjoyed three summers with Dance International in Spain under the direction of Kazuko Hirabayashi. Nana has performed with Kazuko Hirabayashi Dance Theater, Arantxa Sargadoy, Asun Noales, Eva Bertomeu, Iratxe Ansa, Nathan Trice, H.T. Chen & Dancers, Kawamura the 3rd, Haruki Murakami’s “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle” by Stephen Earnhart and Setsuko Kawaguchi Ballet (Nagoya, Japan) among others. In December 2004 at KHDT studios, Nana performed the duet SAKURA SAKURA, one of Takehiro Ueyama’s first works, and has been a Company member ever since.
